The short version. If you send us a quote or enter our drawing, we use what you give us to get back to you. We don't sell your information. We don't need your clients' personal details to quote a policy, so please don't send them through this website.
Who we are
Apex Premium Finance, LLC, 524 Main Street, Hazard, KY 41701. Phone 866-273-9732. We finance insurance premiums for independent agents and their clients. In this policy, "we," "us" and "Apex" mean Apex Premium Finance, LLC. Apex is an independent premium finance company.
What this policy covers
This policy covers apexpfc.com. It doesn't cover the Finance Master log-in pages or the page where you make a payment. Other companies run those, and their privacy policies apply there.
Apex doesn't send a separate privacy notice with its premium finance agreements. If you'd like a copy of this policy for your records, ask us and we'll send it.
What we collect
What you tell us.
- Get a better quote form: your name, agency, email, phone (optional), state, type of policy, the premium you were quoted, down payment and rate (optional), and anything you write in the note box.
- Big I booth form: your name, agency, email, phone (optional), and whether you'd like a quote, to enter the drawing, or both.
- Calls and emails: whatever you choose to tell us.
What the site collects on its own. Like most websites, ours records your browser and device type, the pages you view, your approximate location (from your internet address), and how you found us. We use Google Analytics and Google Search Console for this.
Which piece of paper brought you here. Our handouts, rack cards and table signs carry a QR code with a short tag, so we can tell which one you scanned. The tag says which piece of paper it was. It doesn't say who you are.
How we use it
- To answer your quote request. We aim to reply within an hour, 9 to 5 Eastern, Monday through Friday.
- To run the Big I drawing and reach the winners.
- To keep the site working and see which pages help.
- To email you what you asked for. We may also send business email to agents about our services. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To follow the law and protect against fraud and misuse.
Who sees it
Shana and the Apex team see it. So do the companies that help us run this site, such as hosting (WP Engine), analytics (Google) and email providers. They can use it only to do that work for us. We share it with courts or regulators if the law requires it, and if Apex is ever sold or merged, it may go along with the business.
We don't sell your personal information.
Please don't send us this
Please don't put your client's Social Security number, date of birth, driver's license number, or bank or card numbers into our website forms. We don't need them to give you a quote. If we need them later to set up a contract, we'll ask for them through our contract process.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send through our forms for a reasonable period after we respond, and only as long as we need it for the reason you sent it. Then we delete it.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them to count visits and see which pages people read. We don't use them to show you ads. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Your choices
- To stop our emails, click "unsubscribe" in any email, or reply and tell us.
- To see, correct or delete what we have about you, call or email us using the contact details below.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect it. The site uses a secure connection (HTTPS), only a few people can see form entries, and we keep the software up to date. No website or email is perfectly secure, so please use judgment about what you send.
Children
This site is for insurance agents and businesses. It isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
